A Diploma in Hand

We are always so proud when one of our clients accomplishes a milestone. This past month Dayren received her high school equivalency. We couldn't be more proud! Congratulations Dayren! See a picture

We Are The Champions

It's not just the start of Queen's famous anthem. Your own Fort Bend County Women's Center is the champion of the Bean category of the 2013 Classic Chevrolet Chili Cook-Off! To promote sexual assault awareness, the team called themselves the Chill-It Chilis and served up Na-CHO Chili (get it? Not yo' chili) as a tongue-in-cheek reminder to protect your boundaries and body.

April showers bring May flowers and so many things are just "blooming" here at the Women's Center! We thank you for your support this year and look forward to blooming more together as the year progresses. This Sunday is also Mother's Day. We honor all the mothers who have come to the Women's Center and found the strength to start new violence-free lives. Their accomplishments amaze us every day!

Have a wonderful Mother's Day and enjoy the first of our summer weather!
