SEPTEMBER

 

Sept. 7th -     Gina Abdullah from the Dress a Girl Around the World and in Ft. Bend County too

                        Foundation will be telling about their program that is making dresses for girls out of

                        pillow cases and shorts for boys out of old t-shirts to send with Missionaries to

                        other countries and in our area also. 

 

                        Also we are having someone from the Ft. Bend County Fair to give us a very brief update

                        from the floor.                     

                      

 Sept.14th -    Youth of the Month  ( Senior High School) Program re-starts for the new school year!       

 

 Sept. 21st-    Kevin Kline - DJ and Hall of Fame Awardee for 93Q Country and his wife Trish

                        will be telling us all about their Snowdrop Foundation 

 

Sept. 23rd -   Fort Bend County Fair Parade - our Club along with the Lone Star Club have been invited to participate with the Sugar Land Club in the GIVEAKIDAFLAGTOWAVE program at the Fair Parade.  We provide our banner and a cooler full of water and man power, Sugar Land provides the flags and we continue our efforts of National President Sid Mobley's plan for Clubs to work together and build stronger cross club relationships.  We have not participated in the Fair Parade for a few years now but a good time is had by all so mark your calendars for this annual event.

 

 Sept. 28th -   Susan Whitacre with Seniors Meals on Wheels program 

 

OCTOBER  is Crime Prevention Month !

 

 Oct. 5th - Rescheduled David Mirelez with the Rosenberg Police Dept. and his dog Tracey

 

Oct. 12th - Young Citizen (Middle School) Youth Program starts again!

 

Oct. 19th - Golf tournament discussion - set aside for Candace and her committee to go

                   over any information for our upcoming Golf Tournament

 

Oct. 24th - Monday - GOLF TOURNAMENT --  ALL HANDS ON DECKS FOR OUR ANNUAL FUNDRAISER! 

 

Oct. 26th - Matt with Soaring Eagle Ranch for Youth 

 

October 29th - FREE FLU SHOT CLINIC & COMMUNITY TOY DRIVE!
